GROWING up

There are journeys that test the limits of our perception, due to the uncertainty of the destination, due to the fear of what the path may reveal to us about what we were, what we are, and what we can become.

Growing up appears as one of those trips, an odyssey into Dário Laureano child-hood, with reminiscences of vague, almost erased memories, fragments that memory decided to keep unconsciously. Memories echo loudly in the void, taking the form of moralistic expressions that insist on breaking with oblivion and remain until today, causing more turbulence than tranquility. Parasites, sprout like a weed, tearing up the tar laid across the path between those memories and the present time.
